ChicNCheap on Holiday

(Thanks for the readers who have asked me if I ever put on more casual looks so this thread is some sort of the proper answer)

Most of us would rather travel in style but I did Bangkok in ChicNCheap with my friends earlier earlier this year. As seen here waiting the train traveling from Silom to the exciting Chatuchak market in RM20 H&M t-shirt found at the Reject Shop, an RM30 Billabong knee length short bought from FOS, a pair of 50% discount Armani Exchange slippers and the ever favorite monogram Gucci tote for a high-low mix and match

I got these black & grey CNC by Costume National t-shirts during my first time visit to Jakarta for only RM30. For an outing to my former boutique in KLCC (I used to work part time during and after studying) to visit friends who still working there, I paired the grey one with my Energie jeans, Maxmara metal plates belt, Passport slippers and the newest member of ChicnCheap family, the Chloe "Elvire" tote. And for the record, they are all discounted!

When you love fashion, you will try your very best to look good in any occasions, just for fun. All dressed up for my birthday dinner at Chatz Brasserie, The Park Royal Kuala Lumpur, I debuted all the stuff that I bought during the sale carnival except the Adidas sneakers. Initially, I wanted to done my brown Zara sneakers to match with the brown Chloe tote but I opted out for an all colorful The Stripes ensemble that include the blue striped sneakers, red and white striped Esprit belt and yellow lining Kwan long sleeves shirt

For a 80%, this is undoubtedly one of the biggest bargained in the history of ChicnCheap, interms of a brand courtesy of a clearance sale by Valiram held at the J.W Marriott, Kuala Lumpur. Chloe is not as popular as other fashion houses but they sure got the once-It bag, the Paddingtons. But this brown tote from "Elvire" collection is enough for me! The trademark is the fan-like ornaments on the bag

I wasnt whole-heartedly wanted to buy this brown Passport slippers but I couldnt find any interesting discounted ones but for a best buy of RM59.90 and they look good on my feet, I think it was a good buy, for now. You can still find them at Parkson, Suria KLCC

Surprisingly, this is the first ever cardigan that I ever bought and luckily I got it for a big sum of 87% discount. I just thought it could be more funner to have some cloth layering style and guys, if you dont wanna saught after more clothes, you can always buy one outside to cover all inside

Of all the bags that were discounted for 50%, this black hobo with white trimmings was the best buy because of its size, design and colour. Love the spaciousness, the woven and tassel ornaments and also the white detailing on a black basic bag making it more interesting

I almost forgot that I have this 50% discount brown skinny Zara corduroy so as usual, I will make use the most out of it by pairing it with my 50% off pink Esprit polo and lime green Zara espadrilles for a shopping trip and later

I paired it with my floral Ikka that I found from FOS short sleeves shirt for the annual breaking fast organized by my ex-school mates at Kelab Darul Ehsan. I think tugged out floral shirt was appropriate because the environment was kindda garden-ish and informal, relaxing.

Who says you cant have fun colour blocking with discounted items?

I wasn't sure why Energie is having a total wiped out up to 90% sale now but wasnt surpise because the pricing was way tad too ridiculous for our shore and luckily I got this 70% off jeans retailed at RM779 for only RM233.70! I decided to splurge on a branded jeans because my last Zara lasted for 3 years and it is easier for me because I'm not fussy with all the cuttings and all. Good quality and comfy matters the most

I am such a lucky guy who occasionally encountered with much needed discounts on working shirts and I did meet with this fabulous 70% off Seed sale at Isetan, Lot 10 for long sleeves stripe shirts. Can you imagine they were retailed at outstanding RM109 before I grabbed them for only RM32.70 each!
